Ok so my computer had a virus so I had to pretty much reset the whole thing. Well for some reason now when I download music from limewire it just goes into my music folder instead of my zune. Could anybody please help me out with this?
It’s probably because the limewire is not legally purchased content. I don’t have a Zune. I have an iPod. However, I think I’ve heard you can only use purchased music on your Zune under the Microsoft music store, etc…

My brother told me to go to my setting or something so I can set my zune mp3 player program to where when I plug the zune in to the program on the computer, it won’t wipe out all my music that I have on there. Does anybody know how to do that?
Go to settings > device > sync options. Switch it to manual sync and you can decide when music gets deleted or added to the player.
The manual sync helps if you are always deleting music off of your computer. If you never delete or move music on your computer that you want on your Zune then just set the sync to automatic and add the correct folder in your Zune software settings for the library. This way all you have to do is add your music to your watched folder and when you connect your Zune it’ll automatically detect the new music and add it to the Zune. The auto sync is best if you have the Zune 30/80gb models unless you don’t have much music. If you have a flash Zune model 2/4/6/8/16 then I’d suggest using the manual sync.

the other way is to burn the files onto a CD, then rip the CD using iTunes. this may take a while so be sure to create an MP3 CD and not just a regular CD…MP3 CD’s can hold close to 100 songs each compaired to roughly 20 for a regular CD

Well, get a zune. If you hate how big the 120gb is, get a 80gb. Its smaller but bigger then the 8gb. If you want the same size as the nano get the 8gb zune. Trust me, i prefer Zune so much more then an Ipod. Never liked Apple, Never will. You shouldn`t either. Zune software is easier to use, Built in AM,FM radio, A Touchpad, (You can turn it on/off.) And just better overall.

I would like to know how to remove the protection from zune music files. I think it is ridiculous and retarded that you pay to download music and they still restrict what you can do with it. you cant play anything downloaded from zune marketplace without having the software or logging in. anything will last as long as you take care of it. iPods are real easy to work on if anything goes wrong. just don’t drop it and keep it in a case of some sort and you should be fine.
as far as ease, iPods are MUCH easier to use, and can sync to your existing iTunes with no problem at all.
All the Zunes can sync are mp3s, and not all of them at that.
I have had 3 different mp3 players, and hated them all.
I now have 3 iPods, and LOVE them.

Zune’s use a program called.. Zune. Ha. They are decent MP3 players with the ability to store music, pictures, podcasts, and videos. It also has a FM Radio tuner built in. The picture/video quality is pretty nice. The zune software actually puts a couple of games on the player. Overall Zune’s are a good mp3 player. However, they do tend to have some bugs and can result in you having to take it back for an exchange.
well a zune uses zune software that is like an itunes expect i find it easier to use than itunes. If you get a zune you can use the same songs that are on media player.

not sure what Ares is, but if it is a music download site, all you have to do is map the location of the music that was downloaded. open up the zune software, go to settings, collection, and add folder under the music locations. then find where all the music from Ares is stored, select that folder and hit OK. then the software should automatically load the songs (as long as they are in the correct format and DRM free) then it is just like syncing any other song.
