Go to settings > device > sync options. Switch it to manual sync and you can decide when music gets deleted or added to the player.

Ok so my computer had a virus so I had to pretty much reset the whole thing. Well for some reason now when I download music from limewire it just goes into my music folder instead of my zune. Could anybody please help me out with this?

You have to move the file into that folder and then Zune should upload it automatically depending on your settings.
Movies can only be a certain format to work on the Zune, MP4 I believe it is (a couple of others but that one works best). It won’t play AVI’s which is what 90% of downloaded movies are. You’ll need a converter.

you have to move the file to the folder that your Zune takes movies out of.
In settings you should be able to find a videos spot and it probly goes to My Videos or something.
Then open the Zune software, click the Videos tab then drag and drop the video.

It’s for the WiFi. You wouldn’t get a signal if it had to pass through the metal backing. The Zune 30 doesn’t have it because it’s made of plastic, not metal.

unlike iTunes, zune doesn’t allow you 2 select as many files and just drag them into iTunes for example, so i wanted to know if there’s a better way besides having to find the file and dragging it indivicually into iTunes…HELP
Actually it does but may be something with your software,
if your itunes is on the same computer it should pick up the songs, so try reinstalling your itunes to scan all your music.

In the software, go to settings > software > collection.
Then add the folder/folders which have the songs to the music column.
You can add your download folder into Zune by going to Settings > Collection then adding the folder under music.
The other option is to simply drag and drop the music into Zune.
Either way, once the music adds, sync your Zune, and voila, you have your music.

zunes are compatible with mac computers because someone at microsoft holds a grudge against apple with good reason.
ipods are way more advanced than any zune could possibly be.
I rebooted itand all of my stuff got erased, but it still says that space is still being taken up.
the zune froze because i was installing games on it, if that changes anything.
How do i fix this? do i have to reformat the zuen or do I reinstall the software on it?

anything will last as long as you take care of it. iPods are real easy to work on if anything goes wrong. just don’t drop it and keep it in a case of some sort and you should be fine.
as far as ease, iPods are MUCH easier to use, and can sync to your existing iTunes with no problem at all.
All the Zunes can sync are mp3s, and not all of them at that.
