It’s for the WiFi. You wouldn’t get a signal if it had to pass through the metal backing. The Zune 30 doesn’t have it because it’s made of plastic, not metal. The radio actually uses the headphones as an antenna. That’s why you can’t get a station if they’re unplugged.

Mac OSX does not recognize the Zune. you will have to find where Frostwire saved the music files on your hard drive. transfer them to your windows drive. then have the zune import whatever folder you put the music in and then sync your zune.

Plus you are renting them with the pass. You don’t own them. If you did get the Zune pass you would have to continue it in order to be able to play most of what you download. I think it comes with a 10 songs you can keep deal per month but can’t say for sure.
You need to change the default save location of the downloads. Simply open the settings that allow you to change the download location and browse to the Zune music folder.
the zune has some copying properties different from the i-pod. make sure that your zune has been formatted and ur music files are mp3.

you have to move the file to the folder that your Zune takes movies out of.
In settings you should be able to find a videos spot and it probly goes to My Videos or something. You have to move the file into that folder and then Zune should upload it automatically depending on your settings.
Movies can only be a certain format to work on the Zune, MP4 I believe it is (a couple of others but that one works best). It won’t play AVI’s which is what 90% of downloaded movies are. You’ll need a converter.
Then open the Zune software, click the Videos tab then drag and drop the video.

Those CDs that you couldn’t add to your software might be having the same problem. If you downloaded it from a band, it may be FLAC. The only things a Zune can play are MP3, WMA, and AAC. The software above can convert those also.
