The 8gb one with a 2 year contract is 199$ 16gb with 2 year contract is 299$ … its 30$ a month just for the data plan so depends what you choose for texting and minutes as well.

you must be confused theres no 24gb one. if you have a iphone 3G and you’re still on 2.2 NOT 2.2.1, you can unlock after jailbreaking. just search on youtube for a tutorial. if you’re on 2.2.1 there’s no hope at the moment.

i recently purchased a 24GB apple iphone. Though it is only compatible with sim cards from the O2 network. I only have a three and a vodafone sim card. I was wondering if i could unlock the iphone onto one of those networks or would i have to buy an O2 sim card. And if i was to get the phone unlocked, what is the best way to do it?
Also do you have to have the 30$ data plan for the att iphone if you buy it retail…. . or can you buy it retail at all?

a brand new iphone costs (with no contract) between $600-800, a used one you might get for $300-500. the bill is expensive, because you will need to get an internet data plan, mine was like $130 a month. besides, iphone’s have alot of problems, and besides all their stupid features they really fail when it comes to doing what a cell phone should do, like talking and texting. i sold my iphone to an idiot for 400 dollars and bought a used blackberry for 200, the phone can do more, screws up alot less, and my bill is cheaper.
