I have a zune, but it got really old and doesn’t work well now.

So I bought an ipod and want my old songs on my ipod. Is there a way to switch a zune music file on the computer to an MP3 file then sink it on to the ipod?

If you copy the file from your Zune and paste it on your computer’s hard drive, control will be taken over by your default media player.

If it doesn’t convert it, then do the copy and paste. Then burn it to a audio CD. From there rip the file from the CD in mp3 format. Then you can sync the mp3 to your new ipod.
If you’re talking about Zune Pass (subscription) files then you’re out of luck, especially if you don’t subscribe anymore and therefore don’t have a license to play those files anymore. If you do still subscribe then you can use a program named Tunebite, or similar.
there are a couple ways of doing this…the fastest is probably using a WMA to MP3 converter…but it will most likely cost you some $$.
the other way is to burn the files onto a CD, then rip the CD using iTunes. this may take a while so be sure to create an MP3 CD and not just a regular CD…MP3 CD’s can hold close to 100 songs each compaired to roughly 20 for a regular CD
I have a Zune the first generation and I want this Fall Out Boy video on my Zune but I don’t know how to get it on there, help? Please describe in great detail I’ve read alot of things on it but I just can’t figure it out. Thanks:)
i really like the capacity and look of the zune but it might be too big even though i love the screen size.
the ipod nano is much slimer and has that accelerator in it which is really cool.
im stuck on which one to buy so please help me?
Well, get a zune. If you hate how big the 120gb is, get a 80gb. Its smaller but bigger then the 8gb. If you want the same size as the nano get the 8gb zune. Trust me, i prefer Zune so much more then an Ipod. Never liked Apple, Never will. You shouldn`t either. Zune software is easier to use, Built in AM,FM radio, A Touchpad, (You can turn it on/off.) And just better overall.
